PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and highly accurately mount a sensor head, to make the time required for assemble work and the work of adjusting positions efficient, to verify the adhesion of dust and the state of characteristics degradation of a detecting member, and to efficiently perform the work of detecting positions. SOLUTION: A signal outputted from each detecting part when the sensor head is mounted to a body to be detected in a normal state is taken as a reference value. Signals outputted from the detecting parts of the sensor head are compared with the reference value to perform diagnosis. The display of a display means for performing multi-stage display of at least three stages on the results of the diagnosis on the state of mounting of the sensor head to a mobile body is controlled.
