PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cargo supporting stand which is used for a base (a lowest stage cargo bed) and an intermediate shelf of a carriage in which a cargo can be taken in/taken out from the side thereof. SOLUTION: In the cargo supporting stand for a carriage, a mesh panel 13 is stretched over a flat frame structure 12 which is rectangular in plan view. The mesh panel 13 comprises lower side wires 26 which are parallel to one of two sides of the right angle of the frame structure 12 and arranged at adequate intervals in the direction of the other side of the right angle, and upper side wires 27 which are orthogonal to the lower side wires 26 and arranged at adequate intervals in the longitudinal direction of the lower side wires 26. At least one of both side ridges parallel to the lower side wires 26 of the mesh panel 13 is folded downwardly at the outwardly separate position of the frame structure 12 by folding each upper side wire 27, and a downwardly folded panel part 28 is formed thereby.
