<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide illumination light that is free from brightness unevenness and is safe for human eyes by using lighting equipment provided with a semiconductor light emitting element. <P>SOLUTION: A fluorescent body 22 is provided on a curved concave face of a reflector 21. The fluorescent body 22 has a shape of a cylinder which is cut at a plane including its center of axle and along its longitudinal direction. The inner face of the fluorescent body 22 is conically sloped from both ends 23 and 24 to the center portion. The fluorescent body 22 includes a fluorescent material, such as YAG, which converts blue light to white light and diffuses the white light. Blue LEDs 41 and 42 are provided close to both ends 23 and 24 of the fluorescent body 22. The blue LEDs 41 and 42 are positioned so that blue light enters from both ends 23 and 24 and is led to the central portion of the fluorescent body 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
