PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color discrimination device capable of easily setting a range of color to be detected, without requiring labor and time. SOLUTION: A signal processing controller 43 sets as a detection range for light of each wavelength a detectable set teaching range, on the basis of the ratio of the quantities of received light with respect to the light of each wavelength by a light-receiving element 13, when teaching processing at an early stage is performed, and sets as a new detection range a range, comprising the already-set set teaching range and set additional teaching range, along with the setting as an additional detection range for the light of each wavelength a detectable set additional teaching range, on the basis of the ratio of the quantities of received light, with respect to the light of each wavelength by the light-receiving element 13, when additional teaching processing is performed. Furthermore, the controller 43 sets as a set excluded teaching range for the light of each wavelength a range of wavelength, which should not be detected on the basis of the ratio of the quantities of received light with respect to the light of each wavelength by the light-receiving element 13, when excluded teaching processing is performed.
