1,019,496. Endless conveyers. MIKROUFEK. A/S. May 7, 1964 [May 7, 1964], No. 19156/64. Heading B8A. Articles 13 from confectionery moulds are transferred from conveyer carriages 18 to a transverse conveyer 12 by tilting the carriages. The carriages are connected to two parallel chains 20 by pins 19 and have rollers 21 for running on horizontal guide rails 22. At the region where tilting of the carriages is to take place, each guide rail has a trough section 23. A further horizontal rail portion 24 has two latch members 25, 26 pivoted thereto, the member 25 being positively moved, by operating means not shown, between the full-line position and a horizontal closing position shown in broken line. In the latter position, no articles are transferred to the conveyer 12. The member 26 will normally rest on the rail 22 but the roller 21 raises the member 26 as the roller passes up from the trough section 23. Stripper means may ensure discharge of the articles from the carriages. |
