The present invention relates to the use of monocrystals of semiconductor solid gallium and indium selenide solution [(Ga0.3In0.7)2Se3] as material for optoacoustic modulators of laser radiation that are designed for operation in industrial equipment, specifically in explosive, flammable, or radioactive environment. The advantages of the material are extended operation frequency range, improved acoustic and optical characteristics, low attenuation of signals, and high resistance to radioactive radiation.
