PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering column device capable of securing the sufficient length of a collapse stroke a the secondary collision, and achieving weight reduction at low cost. SOLUTION: The steering column device 10 is constituted by rotatably supporting a steering shaft 4 through a bearing 2 at the lower side end and the upper side end of the steering column 3. Link members 1, 1' are interposed either between the inner peripheral surface and the outer peripheral surface of the bearing 2 of at least the lower side end of the steering column 3, or between the inner peripheral surface of the bearing 2 of the column end and the outer peripheral surface of the steering shaft 4.
