<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hydrophilic polymer composition that has a high hydrophilic group content, sufficient water resistance and improved functions such as small resistance, hydrophilicity, etc. <P>SOLUTION: The hydrophilic polymer composition comprises (A) a polymer containing a hydrophilic group in the molecule and (B) at least one kind of a silane compound selected from the group consisting of an organosilane represented by general formula (1): R<SP>1</SP><SB>n</SB>Si(OR<SP>2</SP>)<SB>4-n</SB>(R<SP>1</SP>is a 1-8C monofunctional organic group and R<SP>1</SP>s may be the same or different when a plurality of R<SP>1</SP>s exist; R<SP>2</SP>is a 1-5C alkyl group or a 1-6C acyl group and R<SP>2</SP>s may be the same or different when a plurality of R<SP>2</SP>s exist; R<SP>1</SP>and R<SP>2</SP>may be the same or different; n is an integer of 0-3) and its derivative. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
