摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus capable of easily figuring out the positional relationship between a filming area, a sensor area, and the central area of a static magnetic field, and always filming at suitable positions to prevent re-shooting. SOLUTION: The magnetic resonance imaging apparatus is equipped with at least four high-frequency transmitters which are placed at different positions in a magnetic shield room and generate high frequency for positioning, a high-frequency receiving antenna which is arranged at a high-frequency receiving coil and receives high frequency for positioning, and a calculating means which calculates disposition of high-frequency coil based on the time from sending the high frequency for positioning with each high-frequency transmitter until receiving by the high-frequency receiving coil. The relative positional relationship between the obtained disposition and the magnetic field center is shown to the photographer, and the position of high-frequency receiving coil is controlled based on the disposition.
