PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a square paper pipe free from a twist or warpage, minimizing fear of buckling generation and having extremely high quality and high strength, and a manufacturing device of the square paper pipe reducing a time required for changing a setup and having high workability and productivity. SOLUTION: Banded papers P<SB>1</SB>-P<SB>5</SB>are formed by being bent in a width direction so that the banded papers P<SB>1</SB>-P<SB>5</SB>have rectangular sections perpendicular to its axis, and a plurality of sheets are laminated. In the square paper pipe W bonded by press while being fed in a longitudinal direction, abutted parts E<SB>1</SB>-E<SB>5</SB>of the banded papers P<SB>1</SB>-P<SB>5</SB>of respective layers are positioned at other than corner parts.
