<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photovoltaic power generation system, which makes sunlight irradiated to solar cells by effectively collecting the sunlight and that has large power generation capacity per unit area, the power generation efficiency of the solar cells will not lower, and also to provide a photovoltaic power generation device of a simple structure that is utilized for the photovoltaic power generation system. <P>SOLUTION: Solar cell panels 18, generating electric power on both sides, are provided vertically on water surface so that the light that is reflected irregularly on the water surface to be incident to both sides of the panels 18 can also be utilized for generating electric power. Also, the water absorbs the infrared rays of the sunlight, and when it vaporizes, removes the heat from the panels 18 as latent heat of vaporization. By providing the panels 18 vertically on the water surface, the temperature rise of the panels 18 is suppressed, and the deterioration of the power generation efficiency is prevented. Furthermore, as compared with the case of inclined installation of the panels 18, more number of panels 18 can be provided vertically inside of a section 12 having a prescribed area so that power generation capacity per unit area of the photovoltaic power generation system 10 can be increased. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
