LINEAR ELECTROMAGNETIC ACTUATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear electromagnetic actuator which has excellent magnetic characteristics at low costs by facilitating working for fixing a bridge to a stator piece and an assembling work. SOLUTION: The linear electromagnetic actuator includes a stator 100A having stator pieces 101-104, coils 108-111 and an annular bridge 120, and a movable element 200 having poles 201 of an N-pole and an S-pole disposed along a longitudinal direction of each stator piece in such a manner that a positional relation between a protrusion 107 and the poles 201 opposed to the protrusion 107 is sequentially deviated along the longitudinal direction to the adjacent stator piece. Recess grooves 121-124 for receiving the ends of the respective stator pieces are formed on a contact surface of the bridge 120 with the stator pieces. Positions of the stator pieces in the contact surface are specified by these grooves. The bridge 120 is fixedly attracted to the stator pieces 101-104 by a magnetic attraction force generated on the contact surface by the poles 201. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
