PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact electrifying system electrifying device made good in the uniformity of electrification and hardly producing discharge product such as ozone, and to provide an image forming device using an injection electrifying method being a contact electrifying system, maintaining stable electrifying performance even in the case of long-term use and obtaining an excellent image free from electrification irregularity even in the case of long-term printing. SOLUTION: In this electrifying device where the roller-shaped electrifying member to which voltage is applied is brought into contact with a body to be electrified so as to electrify the surface of the body to be electrified, the surface layer of the electrifying member is an elastic foaming body, and a speed difference is made between the surface of the electrifying member and that of the body to be electrified, and then conductive particles exist on the contact surface of the body to be electrified with the electrifying member. In the device, the hole rate of the surface of the electrifying member is >=50% and <=90%, and the average hole diameter of the hole on the surface of the electrifying member is >=5 μm and <=150 μm. Thus, the electrifying device, the process cartridge and the image forming device having the electrifying device are obtained. |
