PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic apparatus capable of preventing solvent from spreading outside a casing, in maintaining superior image quality, with the use of the wet type developing method, and recovering the solvent with high efficiency, or reutilizing the solvent with the high efficiency. SOLUTION: This apparatus 1-1 is, provided with an image carrier 2 on which a latent image is formed, developing means (5-1 to 5-4) forming the developer image by feeding the developer containing toner and the solvent on the image carrier 2, transfer means 6 for transferring the developer image from the image carrier 3 on material to be transferred 33, first recovering means (5-1 to 5-4) arranged between the developing means and the transfer means 6, for recovering at least a part of the vaporized solvent as liquid, from an area where the developer image is formed on the image carrier 2, and a second recovering means 40 for recovering the vaporized portion of the solvent, and liquefying at least a part of the vaporized solvent. |
