The machine has driven pulleys (160, 182) driving a saw (22) and a shaper (24), respectively. An electrical motor (102) controls driving pulleys set along a common motor axis passing via a center of rotation axes of the driven pulleys. Two belts (156, 158) couple the driving pulleys to the respective driven pulleys. The driving pulleys are movable with respect to the driven pulleys between driving positions of the driven pulleys.
