PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive edge-of-eaves snow stop auxiliary tool that can be easily attached and suppresses slide and fall until ice lump accumulating on the edge of eaves without any snow stop tool between an existing snow stop tool and the edge of eaves is melted by warm air. SOLUTION: The edge-of-eaves snow stop auxiliary tool 8 (8a and 8b) is manufactured by bending a round or angular metal rod. U-shaped hook parts 8-1 hooked on the existing snow stop tool 6 are formed on the rear end of the edge-of-eaves snow stop auxiliary tool 8 to be divided into two directions. Two extension parts 8-2 are extended from the two hook parts 8-1 in parallel, and the edge parts of the two extension parts 8-2 are connected to be bent upward to form a projection part 8-3. When snow freezes on the projection part 8-3, the ice lump remains on the edge of the eaves 2e to bite into the ice lump, and is suppressed from sliding and falling until the size of the ice lump started to melt is small so as to slip off from the capture of the projection part 8-3 and has dangerless size.
