PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a large-sized display capable of making an installation space more efficient. SOLUTION: In the display device 1, a mapping controller 20 determines partial pictures of a picture to be displayed and their deformation modes based upon a view reference point and the positions of display panels 40a and 40b. Display body controllers 30a and 30b deform the respective partial pictures and display them on the display panels 40a and 40b. Consequently, a distortion-free picture is displayed in a virtual display area irrelevantly to the positions of the display panels 40a and 40b. Therefore, even when the display device 1 is placed in a limited installation space like a large-sized display is placed in a room, the display panels 40a and 40b can be installed not in plane, but at a fixed relative angle, so the installation space of the large-sized display can be made more efficient.
