PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform an operation control by use of a natural ventilation wind quantity value considering housing performance, in a ventilation device used for ventilation of a living room, by solving the problem that an enormous operation energy is needed because an exhaust fan is normally operated. SOLUTION: This ventilation device comprises a fan motor incorporated in a body, an indoor temperature detection means for detecting the indoor temperature of the living room, an outdoor temperature detection means for detecting the outside air temperature, an airtight performance setting means for setting the airtight performance of the living room, an operation part composed of an operation switching means for setting the operation switching and stopping of the fan motor, and a control part for controlling the fan motor. The control part is adapted so that the fan motor can be controlled by a value calculated from the output values from the detection part and the airtight performance setting means.
