PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an object storage structured so that separation of rack plates from the rack body is unlikely to occur when a vibration in the vertical direction is applied and capable of storing reasonably the objects of various sorts having different sizes by adjusting the layout finely. SOLUTION: The object storage is composed of the rack body 1 having a plurality of engaging holes 1b in the inner wall surfaces 1a on both sides, rack plates 2 at stages up and down to be accommodated in the rack body 1, and rack plate holders having projections to make engagement with the holes 1b in the rack body 1 and supporting the rack plates 2 on both sides, wherein the rack body 1 has a plurality of constant spacing divisions arranged up and down where the engaging holes 1b are arranged at the specified pitch in a constant spacing up and down and an irregular arrangement part whose inter-hole spacing is narrower than the specified pitch and which is provided between the constant spacing divisions arranged in the constant spacing up and down.
