PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved plug feeder which smoothly feeds a sterilized plug to a plug-driving machine without increasing the size of a plug feeding means for the plug-driving machine such as a parts feeder by executing preparation work for sterilization of the succeeding plug and the sterilization work in a sterilization chamber simultaneously with plug feeing action for feeding the sterilized plug to the plug-driving machine such as a plugging machine. SOLUTION: A plurality of the plugs are simultaneously sterilized in the state of being stored in a plurality of transportable containers 2 in the sterilization chamber 1. The transportable containers 2 storing the sterilized plugs in the chamber 1 are accumulated in a container accumulating means such as an accumulating wheel 17 in an isolator 4 connected to the chamber 1. The containers 2 are taken out one by one to be transferred to a plug feeding means such as a parts feeder 23, and the sterilized plugs are fed to the plug-driving machine 25 such as a plugging machine through the feeding means.
