摘要 Disclosed is an electroluminescent device capable of forming a layer having a luminous resin, which has been regarded as impossible to be patterned, into a specific pattern while keeping high uniformity and good quality of the layer, selecting the viscosity of an ink material used for forming the layer in a wide range and also selecting a solvent used for preparing the ink material in a wide range, and shortening a time required for fabrication of the device. The electroluminescent device includes a transparent pixel electrode ( 2 ), a cathode composed of layers ( 9 ), ( 10 ), and ( 13 ), a hole transport layer ( 4 ) and an electron transport emitting layer ( 5 ) which are disposed, as layers having a luminous region, between the transparent pixel electrode ( 2 ) and the cathode, wherein at least the electron transport emitting layer ( 5 ) is formed by transfer of a constituent material of the electron transport emitting layer ( 5 ) in accordance with a relief printing reverse offset method.
