PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge lamp equipped with at least one external electrode, constructed so as to be manufactured more easily, with improved reliability. SOLUTION: At least one of conductor path-shaped electrodes 7, 8 is an integral component of a laminate 5 bonded onto an outer face of a discharge container by an adhesive layer 6.
