PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for detection of an anomaly such as a fire that is simple in structure and easy to install by using a radio tag. SOLUTION: The anomaly detection system S comprises the radio tag T and a detector 10, and an antenna 2 of the radio tag T has a controlling means 3 for detecting heat, smoke, gas, flames, water, vibration, pressure or the like to operatively turn on/off the circuit. The radio tag T holds identification information and position information in a storage part, and generates operating power in a power generation part by using radio energy continuously transmitted from the detector 10, to return a response signal. If a fire occurs to cause a given temperature or higher, the controlling means 3 turn off the antenna circuit to interrupt the response signal from the radio tag 1. The detector 10 can detect it to observe the anomaly occurrence such as a fire and the occurrence position, and drives an alarm system and a fire extinguishing system.
