PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the security information device of a train that can transmit effective security information to an automatic train control unit (ATC) mounted in a lead vehicle even if the power supply of the ATC is disconnected. SOLUTION: The security information device of the train comprises first devices (31, 39) each conducting the calculation and the storing of the security information, and the disconnection of the power supply and the reset of the stored data, by being operated only when the train progresses in a specified direction; and second devices (41, 49) each conducting the calculation and the storing of auxiliary security information by being operated at all times. The security information device also comprises a data transmission and storing means that transmits data operated by the first device (31) to the second device (41), and makes this second device store the data during the operation of this first device, transmits the data stored in the second device (49) to the first device (39) at the time of powering on the first device (39), and makes this first device store the data.
