PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood property evaluation apparatus for noninvasively and instantaneously evaluating blood properties (degree of hemagglutination) which is a risk factor of the onset and development of arteriosclerosis and thrombus formation and displaying an index useful for evaluating the risk degree of the development of the arteriosclerosis and the thrombus formation or the like. SOLUTION: This apparatus is provided with: an ultrasonic device 1 for emitting ultrasonic waves into the body, receiving the ultrasonic reflection signals and generating B mode images indicating a state inside the body; an arithmetic part 2 for detecting a blood vessel inner wall and calculating the intensity of average ultrasonic reflection per unit area of the blood on the basis of the ultrasonic reflection signals; and a display part 3 for displaying the B mode images and the average ultrasonic reflection intensity.
