PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a user easily grasp desirable positions of sound recording equipment or sound producing equipment arranged in an acoustic space. SOLUTION: A CPU 11 specifies the mode of the acoustic space R where a microphone M for outputting a musical sound signal according to the sound in the surroundings and a plurality of loudspeakers S for outputting sound according to the musical sound signal are located, and selects the positions where each loudspeaker S should be located in this acoustic space R. Further, the CPU 11 specifies the positions where the microphone M should be located so that the distance from a loudspeaker S nearest to the microphone M among the plurality of loudspeakers S is maximized in the acoustic space R.
