PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a galvannealed steel sheet having superior sliding properties in press forming, adhesiveness and chemical conversion treatability. SOLUTION: The galvannealed steel sheet superior in press formability and adhesiveness has an Fe-Zn alloy plated layer on at least one side of a steel sheet. The Fe-Zn alloy plated layer has a flat part on the surface. The flat part has an oxide layer with an average thickness of 10 nm to 100 nm on the surface, which includes 0.2% to 50% Fe by a rate (an atomic ratio) with respect to the sum of the amounts of Fe and Zn.
