<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the receiving efficiency of radio wave by reducing a loss caused in an antenna (particularly, in a bar antenna) which is incorporated in a wrist watch and receives standard radio waves. <P>SOLUTION: An antenna 100 being one embodiment of this invention, is provided with: a core 110, a coil 120 wound around the core 110; and two cover cores 130 (131, 132) covering both ends of the coil 120. The core 110 and the cover cores 130 are formed from a magnetic material such as ferrite or amorphous having high permeability. Besides, the core 110 and the cover core 131, or the coil and the cover core 132 are mutually integrally formed in a portion wherein the coil 120 is not wound, and an interval 136 of high magnetic resistance is formed between the cover cores 131, 132. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
