Oil pan structure

An oil pan ( 6 ) is mounted to a lower surface of a cylinder block ( 1 ) in order to reserve an oil. An oil pump housing ( 7 ) is cast integrally with the inner side of the right side surface ( 6 a) of the oil pan ( 6 ). A rib ( 14 ) is formed in order to connect the right side surface ( 6 a) and a left side surface ( 6 b) of the oil pan ( 6 ).
