摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inserting implement which can stably maintain the movement or the inserting speed of an intraocular lens and its support part in an eye when the intraocular lens is inserted and can insert the intraocular lens more safely by not only restricting the unexpected turning of the intraocular lens around the central axis of an inserting cylinder but positively turning the lens in a desired direction when the lens is inserted. SOLUTION: The inserting implement for the intraocular lens is the implement by which the deformable intraocular lens, which is deformed into a small shape, is moved and inserted into the eye through the inserting cylinder. In such an inserting implement for the intraocular lens, the inserting cylinder 17 includes an internal surface shape to turn the deformable intraocular lens 1 by prescribed angle around the axis of the inserting cylinder 17. The internal surface shape has a long diameter part (a) and a short diameter part (b), which are arranged to make a prescribed angle in a lens push-out direction. A guiding section 24 is provided on the internal surface of the inserting cylinder 17, The guiding section 24 is constituted of a rail or a groove which extends at a prescribed angle in the intraocular lens push-out direction.
