MEMORY CONTROLLER, FLASH MEMORY SYSTEM EQUIPPED WITH SAME, AND CONTROL METHOD OF FLASH MEMORY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase processing efficiency while a reduction in use efficiency of a flash memory and a decrease in the reliability of a flash memory system are suppressed.

SOLUTION: A memory controller comprises an access control means for controlling access to a zone composed of a plurality of blocks in the flash memory; a group management means for managing a zone group composed of three or above zones as a group; and an alternative management means for dealing one zone in the group as a preliminary zone, and allocating the block in the preliminary zone as an alternative of a defective block when the defective block occurs in a zone except the preliminary zone in the group.
