PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost optical filter for a solid state imaging element which can be provided with at least a microlens array function and an optical low pass filter function at the same time, and to provide an imaging device. SOLUTION: The optical filter having a plurality of photoelectric conversion sections 22 is used for the solid state imaging element. The optical filter is formed of an optical material which passes light through it. The optical material is formed with an uneven surface which refracts light. The uneven surface has a plurality of microlens regions 11 which condense light in each of the plurality of photoelectric conversion sections by the refraction, with the microlens regions having one-to-one correspondence with the photoelectric conversion sections. An effective apertureϕof each microlens region is larger than a pitch P of the photoelectric conversion sections, and adjacent microlens regions partially overlap with one another.
