PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a ring-like ferrite core from being broken in a color picture tube device of which the CPU is provided with a beam speed modulation coil and a ring-like ferrite core to strengthen a magnetic field of the coil. SOLUTION: A CPU 10 to adjust color purity and a color shift at a screen center is disposed on the outer periphery face of a neck 3a. The beam speed modulation coil 20 to modulate a scanning speed in the horizontal direction of an electron beam is disposed at a position overlapped with the CPU 10 in a tube axial direction. The ring-like ferrite core 70 is disposed at a position overlapped with the coil 20 in the tube axial direction.
