PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container which is downsized as a whole when folded and can surely close its opening when unfolded. SOLUTION: The container includes a bottom plate 2, four side plates rotatably coupled with the periphery of the bottom plate 2 via hinges 23 and foldable from the bottom plate 2, and two lid plates 27 and 33 rotatably coupled with tips of two opposite side plates 17 and 18 among the four side plates via double hinges 35 respectively and foldable from the side plates 17 and 18. The double hinge 35 has two pivots of one located toward the side plates 17 and 18 and the other located toward the lid plates 27 and 33, and both pivots are separate from each other.
