The present invention refers to the production industry of folding chairs used for social events in reception rooms, gardens or other places, and more particularly refers to the production of a chair that comprises a supporting structure including two rectangular-shaped pieces. The advantages of the invention consist in: manufacturing a folding tubular chair in an easy manner, thereby avoiding in a substantial manner the joints of the chair to slack; providing a chair with a long service life including a suitable performance and a chair structure with a seat that allows the spilled liquid to be easily drained. Structurally, the chair is characterized in that the frames thereof, both the largest and the smallest frames, form a frame closed with a single tubular element having four bends at 90 degree , the free edges of said frame are attached in a telescopic manner or in a tongued and grooved system, said attachment being located at any position of the periphery thereof. A monolithic tab is a lso integrated into the seat, the same being moulded in a single operation, thereby reducing assembling operations, parts and time.
