<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recover the amount of water equivalent to water carried in a fuel tank from a fuel cassette or water produced by combustion of fuel such as methanol in a fuel cassette. <P>SOLUTION: Exhaust air from a fuel cell stack 4 is separated in exhaust air and moisture with a gas-liquid separator 18, and the moisture is recovered in an exhaust liquid tank 55 of the fuel cassette 50.
