PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an A/D conversion circuit producing a high resolution digital signal by combining a plurality of sets of low resolution digitizing circuits (A/D converters, or the like), and a controller for generating a high resolution digital signal by combining a plurality of sets of low resolution digitizing circuits and controlling a control object by the digital signal. SOLUTION: The A/D conversion circuit comprises a first digitizing circuit 11 for digitizing an analog input signal (Sa) with M1 bits and outputting it, a quantization error output circuit 12 for outputting an quantization error (ε) in digitization of the analog input signal (Sa) by the first digitizing circuit, a amplifier circuit 13 for amplifying the output signal from the quantization error output circuit with a specified amplification factor (A) and outputting the amplified signal, a second digitizing circuit 14 for digitizing the output signal (ε×A) from the amplifying circuit with M2 bits and outputting the digitized signal, and a digital signal output circuit 15 for generating a digital output value B3 from the digital output value B1 of the first digitizing circuit and the digital output value B2 of the second digitizing circuit.
