PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable more efficiently using a cradle by linking a function equipped on a portable electronic device with the cradle. SOLUTION: A digital still camera 10 (portable electronic device) can set a base country (first time) or a country where photographing is performed (second time) using a world time function.
