<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a cost by realizing a structure that internal members for a disc brake with a parking mechanism can be assembled without any trouble and can be handled easily as a sub-assembly item. <P>SOLUTION: A toggle mechanism 22a is provided between an auxiliary clearance adjusting mechanism 10b bonded and fixed on a piston 6b and a housing 31 bonded and fixed by bolts 32, 32 on a caliper 4b. The toggle mechanism 22a is provided with a cam shaft 49 fixed on a base end part of a parking lever 20b, and a link 50 located between the cam shaft 49 and an adjusting screw 25a. Through oscillation of the parking lever 20b, the distance between the central axis of the cam shaft 49 and the tip end of the link 50 expands and contracts. Before connecting the housing 31 to the caliper 4b, members including a needle bearing 58, the cum shaft 49, the link 50, the adjusting screw 25a are assembled so that a housing side sub-assembly item 82 is accomplished. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
