<p>Each of the punches (10,11) is connected to a drive unit (14) by a joint element (19) holding the head (20) of the punch with a fork-shaped segment. The punches are guided through holes (38) in a top plate (34) which is positioned at the height of the fork-shaped segment of the joint elements, after the punches have been drawn back. A longitudinal gap (38a) is located opposite the gap, created between arms of the fork, moving the heads of the punches from the joint elements to the top plate and vice-versa during the connection process.</p> |
