PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-output microwave lighting device capable of improving the safety of a system by removing a flicker phenomenon generated at a low output, by utilizing a power factor compensation circuit and a transformer for an inverter, and to provide a flicker removing method utilizing the same. SOLUTION: The low-output microwave lighting device comprises a rectifying part 200 outputting a direct current voltage by rectifying commercial alternating current power inputted through a power source 100, a power factor compensation circuit 300 compensating the power factor of the direct current voltage inputted through the rectifying part 200, and an inverter circuit 410 outputting an alternating current voltage by changing a frequency by receiving the current of which the power factor is compensated.
