PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device in which one optical pickup is installed freely rotatably in each of both surfaces of a disk and high perpendicular accuracy between the optical axis of the optical pickup and the disk reproducing surface in A and B surfaces. SOLUTION: Two guide bases to which an optical pickup and an optical pickup driving device are detachably attached are provided for A and B surfaces, and a circular guide hole arranged in each guide base is inserted into the guide shaft of each surface side disposed from an inner peripheral to an outer peripheral direction in the radial direction of a disk mounted on a turntable. When recording/reproducing is switched between the A and B surfaces, the optical pickup and the optical pickup driving device are integrally removed from the guide base of the A or B surface, and fixed to the other guide base after reversal.
