PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reaction vessel capable of precluding humidity unevenness from being generated mutually between a plurality of reaction recesses under reaction, and its humidity holding method. SOLUTION: The reaction vessel 2 and its humidity holding method are provided such that a plurality of reaction recesses 2b are provided like a matrix in one face formed planarly for dispensing a specimen and a reagent into the respective recesses to be brought into reaction.
