PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning tool capable of easily and surely cleaning a connected end face of an optical connector. SOLUTION: An optical connector cleaning tool is for wiping clean the connected end face 61a of the optical connector by the motion of cleaning tapes 2A-2C. A head member 23 for securing the abutting area of the cleaning tapes 2A-2C against the connected end face 61a on a tip surface 24 is arranged at an insertion part 20 provided projectingly from a tool main body, and the head member 23 is supported by a supporting mechanism 40 having a plurality of rotation center shafts 41a, 41b and 41c for rotationally moving the head member 23. For at least one of the rotation center shafts, the rotation axis of the rotation center shaft is at a skew position to a straight line F extended in the inserting direction of the optical connector from the center position 66 of the connected end face 61a at the time of abutting the connected end face 61a against the tip surface 24 of the head member 23.
