<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image receiving sheet for laser thermal transfer, in which the difference glossiness between an image transferred to a final recording medium and an original image is reduced and, in addition, which is excellent in transferring properties such as the reproduction of dots and fine lines, has transferability to thin paper and non-coat paper and also the variation of exposure environment of which is small, and an image forming method utilizing the image receiving sheet. <P>SOLUTION: In the image receiving sheet for laser thermal transfer having at least a heat softening layer, an intermediate layer and an image receiving layer on a support, the intermediate layer includes a mat material and conductive fine particles under the condition that the relationship between the film thickness (X) μm of the intermediate layer and the film thickness (Y) μm of the image receiving layer satisfies the relation 2≤X/Y≤10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
