<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective layer transfer sheet imparting printability and the writing properties of an aqueous pen, a fountain pen or the like to an image formed by a heat-sensitive transfer recording system and excellent in foil cutting properties, durability such as abrasion resistance, scratch resistance or the like, weatherability, chemical resistance, solvent resistance or the like, and printed matter using it. <P>SOLUTION: In the protective layer transfer sheet wherein a thermal transfer protective layer is provided to at least a part of one side of a base material sheet, the thermal transfer protective layer has water absorbability after thermal transfer, and a printing/writing protective layer, which comprises at least a peel layer, a water-resistant porous layer and a water absorbent resin, and a heat adhesive resin layer are successively laminated from the side of the base material sheet. The peel layer is composed of at least a water-soluble resin, fine particles, a curing agent and a water dispersible polymer and the coating amount of the peel layer is 0.1-0.5 g/cm<SP>2</SP>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
