PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle information providing apparatus which can provide vehicle occupants with apparent positional information on an object, without having them move the eyes widely. SOLUTION: The on-vehicle information provision apparatus is to visually provide vehicle occupants with positional information of an object that can be seen, while the vehicle is moving. The apparatus comprises an object detecting means that detect an object designated by a vehicle occupant, and a designated target informing means that visually informs the other occupants of the apparent position of the detected object within an actual landscape that is being seen by the occupants, by displaying image information showing the object superimposed on the landscape.
