PRODUCTION METHOD OF ANTISTATIC PLATE HAVING ANTIDAZZLE CHARACTERISTIC AND ANTISTATIC PLATE OBTAINED THEREBY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antistatic plate which has moderate antidazzle characteristic and moderate transparency, which is excellent in image visibility as a front panel for video display equipment and also excellent in adhesiveness of an antistatic film to a substrate and scratch resistance.

SOLUTION: In this production method, a coating material containing a hardenable compound and conductive particles and having 3 to 6 mPa s viscosity at 25°C is applied onto a rugged surface of the substrate having a rugged shape on its surface and then is hardened. By this method, the antistatic plate which is suitable as the front panel for the video display equipment, which has 20°specular gloss and 60°specular gloss of 100 to 140 % and surface resistivity of≤1×1013Ω/ sq. is produced.
