METHOD FOR OPERATING BLAST FURNACE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for operating a blast furnace by which fuel blowing amount from a tuyere is adjusted in order to prevent the collapse of a raceway on the basis of a distance till the measured deepest part of the raceway. SOLUTION: In the method for operating the blast furnace in which a plurality of tuyeres 3 are arranged in the lower peripheral direction and the raceways 6 are formed in the vicinity of the respective tuyeres 3, the fuel blowing amount from the tuyere 3 is adjusted in order to prevent the collapse of the raceway 6 on the basis of the distance till the measured deepest part 7 of the raceway 6.
