FABRICATING METHOD OF LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE

A method for manufacturing an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to prevent impurity ion gases contained in an alignment film or a sealant from contaminating a color filter substrate and a TFT(Thin Film Transistor) array substrate by combining the two substrates with each other in a high-temperature oven under the atmospheric pressure. An upper and lower substrates are prepared. The upper and lower substrates are attached to each other in vacuum. The attached substrate is cut into unit cells. The two substrates are attached to each other through a step of aligning the upper and lower substrates with each other, a step of heating the aligned substrates, a step of heating the aligned substrates in a vacuum chamber, and a step of cooling down the heated substrates.
